How it works
How Tap & Toast works
A nationwide marketplace for hosts, independent bartenders and venues — founded in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
For hosts
Planning an event
1
Tell us what you need
Submit a request for a bartender, a venue, or both — with your date, guest count and city.
2
We match you where listings exist
We connect you with independent bartenders and venues who have active listings in your market. Coverage varies by city — it's strongest around Nashville and Middle Tennessee today.
3
If we don't have coverage yet
In markets without active listings yet, we'll follow up with you directly rather than leave you guessing.
For bartenders
Joining as a bartender
1
Apply
Tell us about your experience, service area and the plan you'd like.
2
We review your application
Our team reviews every application by hand before anything goes live.
3
Your listing goes live
Once approved and your membership plan is active, your profile appears to hosts searching your area and you start receiving leads.
For venues
Listing a venue
1
Submit your listing
Share your venue's details, capacity, photos and any policies hosts should know.
2
We review it
Our team reviews submitted listings before they're published.
3
Appear in the venue directory
Approved listings appear in the public venue directory, and inquiries from interested hosts arrive by email.
What we do and do not do
We're a marketplace
Tap & Toast connects hosts with independent bartenders and venues. Most bookings are agreements between you and the provider or venue you choose, on their own terms.
Self-reported vs. reviewed
Most listing details are self-reported by the bartender or venue. Our team reviews applications and listings before they go live, but we don't run background checks unless a listing expressly says so.
Our own bar service
Alongside the marketplace, Tap & Toast also runs a first-party mobile bartending service in the Nashville area with published flat-rate packages.
