Booking & Cancellation Policy
Template document — review with legal counsel before relying on it.
Request vs. confirmed booking
Submitting a request is not a confirmed booking. A booking becomes confirmed only when it is accepted in writing and, for first-party Tap & Toast bookings, once the deposit is received.
Holding your date (first-party Tap & Toast bookings)
A $150 deposit holds your date for bartending service provided directly by Tap & Toast. Dates are not reserved until the deposit is received through our secure hosted checkout, and the deposit is applied to your package total.
Final balance
For first-party bookings, the remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. We'll send a secure payment link ahead of the due date.
Cancellations (first-party bookings)
- Deposits are non-refundable, as the date is taken off our calendar.
- Cancel more than 7 days out and no further payment is due; any balance already paid is refunded.
- Cancel within 7 days of the event and the full package price remains payable.
Third-party providers and venues
When you book a third-party bartender, mobile bar provider or venue through the marketplace, that provider or venue sets its own cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms. Review those terms directly with the provider or venue before booking — Tap & Toast is not a party to that agreement unless a separate written Tap & Toast service contract states otherwise.
Rescheduling
For first-party bookings, we'll move your deposit to a new date once, at no charge, if the new date is available and you tell us more than 7 days before the original event.
Weather and force majeure
Outdoor events need a covered backup plan. Neither Tap & Toast nor a third-party provider can guarantee service in unsafe weather, and we do not guarantee availability in circumstances beyond reasonable control (severe weather, road closures, government order, or similar force majeure events).
