Tap & Toast provides bartending service only. The host supplies all alcohol unless otherwise arranged in writing. We provide ice, mixers, garnishes and service ware as described in your package.

Federal, state and local alcohol laws — including dram-shop and social-host laws — vary significantly by jurisdiction. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and Tap & Toast does not represent that any particular event, venue or provider arrangement complies with the laws that apply to it.

Legal drinking age and intoxication

• Alcohol service should be provided only to guests of legal drinking age (21+).
• Identification checks are expected before serving alcohol where age is in doubt.
• Service should be refused or stopped for any guest who appears intoxicated.

Who is responsible for compliance

For first-party Tap & Toast bookings in Nashville & Middle Tennessee, Tap & Toast bartenders follow these responsible-service practices directly. For third-party providers and venues booked through the marketplace, the third-party provider or venue is responsible for its own alcohol licensing, permits, staff training and compliance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the event takes place, unless a separate written Tap & Toast service contract states otherwise. Hosts and event organizers are responsible for obtaining any permit their venue or jurisdiction requires for the supply of alcohol.

No guarantee of compliance or licensing

Tap & Toast does not guarantee that any listed provider or venue holds a valid liquor license, permit or insurance. Listings and self-reported credentials are not endorsements or guarantees; you must independently verify a provider's or venue's legal compliance before your event.
